Liverpool star Jordan Henderson has reacted to his side’s 3-2 Champions League win over AC Milan on Wednesday night. Jurgen Klopp’s team had to battle their way to victory at Anfield. But the result means they’ve now got their European adventure off to a successful start.
Liverpool took the lead against AC Milan in the ninth minute, with former Chelsea star Fikayo Tomori putting the ball into his own net.
However, despite the Reds dominating, they then found themselves pegged back.
Ante Rebic and Brahim Diaz struck for Milan before half time, leading to a private inquest inside the Liverpool home dressing room.
Yet Mohamed Salah and then Henderson came to the rescue, with the pair both finding the net to give their side all three European points.
And Henderson, speaking after the game, hailed his side- though insisted they’d learn from the difficult 15-minute period when the game threatened to turn on its head.
