Liverpool team news: Expected XI vs AC Milan – Jurgen Klopp makes two changes from Leeds

    Midfield: Fabinho, Henderson, Thiago

It was an incredible shame to see the mightily-talented teenager Harvey Elliott stretchered off at Elland Road on Sunday.

He’s enjoyed a bright start to the campaign and has undoubtedly earned the trust of Klopp, who will be forced into a midfield change on Wednesday.

Fabinho should keep his place as the single pivot, whilst Thiago will hope to build on his dominant display against Leeds.

Jordan Henderson replaced Elliott at the weekend and should start against Milan, reclaiming the captain’s armband from Van Dijk in the process.
