    She’s best known for her role as single mother Shirley on Channel 9’s Love Child.

    And now actress Ella Scott Lynch has welcomed her second child in real-life, a baby boy with boyfriend Steve Toulmin on Tuesday. 

    Announcing the news on Instagram, the 38-year-old revealed her bundle of joy arrived earlier than expected.

    ‘He fell to Earth at 4.24am on 15/6/21 2 weeks earlier than expected, narrowly missing Donald Trump’s birthday by 4 hours,’ she began.

    ‘He has healed so much already including a mama who didn’t believe a birth could happen like his.

    ‘Thank you for entrusting yourself to us long toed baby alien. You’re already loved and now you are home,’ she added.

    While she stayed tight-lipped on her son’s name, Ella did share a photograph of his feet wrapped in a warm baby blanket.

    The actress is already a mum to five-year-old daughter Ziggy, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Toby Schmitz. 

    In March, Ella revealed she was expecting her second child – her first with beau Steve.

    At the time she shared a picture of her growing baby bump, while posing in matching black underwear.  

    She also penned an inspirational letter to herself, touching on the fact she was going have a blended family as her two children have different fathers.

    ‘Older me to younger me – they’ll be two babes who come down to meet you,’ she began.

    ‘They’ll have two different daddies. It won’t look like a ‘normal’ family but there’ll be twice the love. Squared.

    ‘You will watch things get blown apart but you will see them get rebuilt in different forms over very old and deeply known foundations.

    ‘There is more gentleness. Flowers keep growing out of smashed up concrete,’ she continued.

    ‘Some days at 38 you will look at it all and feel like the whole thing was rigged and you won some strange lottery.’ 

    Ella is a prominent Australian actress. In addition to her role on Love Child, she has featured in popular TV shows like All Saints, and Home and Away.
