Love Island finalists Teddy Soares and Faye Winter took to the skies on Wednesday to travel home from Mallorca to the UK.

The couple came third on the ITV2 show, which came to a climax on Monday evening, and uploaded snaps to their respective Instagram accounts as they traveled home after their summer abroad.

The duo locked lips for a snap uploaded by Teddy, who was sure to add a cheesy caption to it: ‘They say don’t catch feelings, catch flights, what if you’ve caught both? #sorrynotsorry’

Faye also posted, writing: ‘Our journey on the love island might of come to an end but I’m so excited to start the next part of this journey with Teddy by my side of course in our crocs.

‘We have lots to catch up on but I can’t wait for what the future holds for us! See you on the other side ❤️ [sic]’

The pair were also seen en route to the airport in the back of a car, with Faye mistakenly thinking Teddy was snapping a photo, when he was really filming a video.

Faye also shot a quick clip of them on the plane together.

Faye dressed for comfort for the flight in grey shorts and a crop-top, while Teddy donned a slate grey T-shirt and navy sweatpants.

Both of them wore crocs for the journey, which will see Teddy return home to London and Faye to Devon.

Series winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon were also seen heading for their flight home to the UK on Wednesday.

In their first sighting since winning, the couple – who have nabbed £25k each – look to have survived their first 48 hours as a couple in the real world, holding hands as they sauntered through departures at Palma de Mallorca airport.

Millie flaunted her waist in a white crop top and baggy grey sweatpants, a black hoodie slung around her shoulders.

Liam, 22, also dressed for comfort in a grey sweater and taupe desert pants, also sporting white trainers.

He added a white facemask and a black baseball cap to the look.

The pair chatted animatedly as they strolled towards their flight, no doubt excited to return to the UK after their two-month stint in Mallorca.

Love Island 2021 final voting figures

Millie Court and Liam Reardon scooped the title of Love Island winners 2021 – with figures proving they were the firm favourites amongst viewers.

Final voting tallies were confirmed as follows:

    – Liam and Millie received 42.02% of the public’s votes

    – Chloe and Toby, who placed second, earned 30.85% of votes

    – Faye and Teddy saw 14.85% of users voting for them, landing them in third place

    – Kaz and Tyler, who were the first of the four finalists to be booted from the villa, received 12.27% of the votes

Runners up Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran were also spotted catching a flight home, but separately to winning couple Liam and Millie.

Millie revealed  on Tuesday that she never considered taking the entire £50k prize money in the final, despite her boyfriend’s disloyal behaviour at Casa Amor during the show.

The Essex beauty and the bricklayer also discussed their marriage plans and moving in together in their first interview after Monday’s final episode.

After they were crowned the winners, Millie picked the envelope with the money inside, meaning she could choose to keep the cash herself and leave Liam with nothing, or split it evenly between them – which is the option she ultimately chose.

Despite Liam’s scandal at Casa Amor, which saw him kiss Lillie Haynes while Millie remained faithful at the main villa, the loyal lady confirmed she plans on spending both the prize money and her life with the Welsh native.

‘No, never [would I not split it]. That didn’t cross my mind,’ she said. ‘I came on the show to find love at the end of the day, so we said for ages now, anything after that was a bonus.

‘Then to receive that money, it was just incredible. But there wasn’t a doubt in my mind – I was going to share that with Liam because we’re about to experience life together.’

Liam echoed her sentiments: ‘What I have with Millie money can’t buy, any money in the world would mean nothing to me unless I had Millie with me. I would have been splitting it one hundred million percent.’

Although Liam returned to the show without Lillie, attempting to paper over the infidelity, she swiftly entered after him and told Millie what had gone on.

Despite splitting with him at first, Millie eventually took Liam back, with them saying ‘I Love You’ earlier this week.

And their rocky romance ended on a high during the final episode, when the labourer asked Millie to be his official girlfriend during their live exit interview.

Reflecting on the moment they made their relationship official, Liam added: ‘I dropped the “L-bomb” a few days ago and said that I loved Millie and she said the same back, so we’re already a thing, but it’s just putting that title on it.

Shocking: Despite Liam's scandal at Casa Amor, which saw him kiss Lillie Haynes while Millie remained faithful at the main villa, the loyal lady confirmed she is planning on spending her life with the Welsh native

‘It was on my mind. Laura asked us the question, “Is boyfriend, girlfriend coming next?” and Millie said, “Yes in the future, it’ll be happening soon” and I thought, “Well, it’s been on my mind so let’s do it!”

‘I couldn’t think of anything more [that I wanted to do] than making Millie my girlfriend because I love her.’

And Millie gushed: ‘It was a no brainer to say yes. It was a really nice, sweet gesture.’

In their revealing interview, the couple also confirmed a proposal and wedding is on the cards.

‘The proposal is going to have to be massive!’ the fashion buyer’s administrator insisted.

Liam concurred: ‘It’s going to be huge, I’m sure I can pull it out of the bag. I’m sure I can do it.’

As the 22-year-old hunk is based in Wales while his girlfriend resides in Essex, they confirmed they are planning on living closer to one another, with the goal of moving in together next year.

Liam said: ‘I love where I’m from but I would like to venture off and move to somewhere new and Essex seems like the perfect place really.

‘I know some of the boys who were in the villa, we got on so well and they mentioned moving in together and they’d like to move to Essex so that’s something I would definitely be considering and that’s my plan really, moving to Essex.

‘Millie and I will move in together eventually. We’ve been living together in the villa together for the past 7/8 weeks. We don’t want to jump into living together straight away because we don’t want to add too much pressure.’

Admirable: 'No, never [would I not split it]. That didn’t cross my mind, I came on the show to find love at the end of the day,' she said

Admirable: ‘No, never [would I not split it]. That didn’t cross my mind, I came on the show to find love at the end of the day,’ she said

Millie continued: ‘We haven’t been away from each other yet to miss each other and do those things that you do in normal relationships.

‘But us girls [from the villa] will rent a house in Essex, the boys will rent a house in Essex, see how that goes for six months and then we will crack on with it [moving in together].’

Liam agreed: ‘That’s exactly how I feel. I think six months then that’s the next step, we move in together,’ as Millie added: ‘The one thing I want to make sure is that we still stay as strong as we are now.’

Love Island voting figures revealed the couple scored an impressive 42.02% of the final public’s votes, made via the show’s mobile app, while Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran, who placed second, earned 30.85% of votes.

Meanwhile Faye Winter and Teddy Soares saw 14.85% of users voting for them, landing them in third place. And Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank, who were the first of the four finalists to be booted from the villa, received 12.27% of the votes.

Despite having the wholehearted support of the viewers’ at home, the couple insisted they were shocked by their victory and never believed they would be crowned winners.

‘It’s a surreal feeling,’ Liam said. ‘We never thought that this would ever happen. We’ve done it together and we’re on top of the world right now, we couldn’t be happier.’

Millie recalled: ‘When it had been fourth and third place and then it got to us, the final two couples, that’s when it hit and I was like, “Ok this is actually between first and second place now!”‘

When asked what they plan on spending the £50k prize money on, the blonde beauty said: ‘The first thing I want to do is treat my friends and family. I want to give back to them and do something for them.’

Liam agreed: ‘Yeah, I want to look after my family back home, spoil them as they’ve always done the best for me. I will definitely put money towards a house.’

Smitten: Liam added:'What I have with Millie money can’t buy, any money in the world would mean nothing to me unless I had Millie with me. I would have been splitting it one hundred million percent'

‘I could build a house for us both but that’s way down the line. That’s when the proposal happens.’

The loved-up pair put their parenting skills to the test during the show’s iconic baby challenge last week, where they were given electronic baby dolls to look after.

Asserting their faux baby’s incessant crying didn’t put them off, the couple confirmed they both want three children.

‘Yeah, definitely – family’s a massive thing for me,’ Liam said when asked if he wants kids.

‘To have children one day is a dream, it’s something I really want and with someone I love. I said I wanted three children, I think Millie feels the same,’ to which Millie interjected: ‘Yeah!’

Plans: In their revealing interview, the couple also confirmed a proposal and wedding is on the cards as the fashion buyer's administrator insisted:'The proposal is going to have to be massive!'

He continued: ‘I’ve had an amazing upbringing myself, my family being so loving, I just want to give that to my children.’

Millie added: ‘We’re both very family orientated, we both want kids. We both want to get married,’ while Liam gushed: ‘That’s our plan, we’re on the same page.’

The other Love Island couples are also looking ahead to their futures outside of the villa, including Chloe and Toby,  who made their relationship official on Monday’s show.

When asked if they see wedding bells around the corner for the runners-up, Millie commented: ‘Potentially, yeah! We love them. We’re so close to them.

‘[We were] So happy to be in the final with them, first and second. Them two just make us laugh so much. We’d be privileged to go to their wedding, it’d be unreal.’

Liam admitted: ‘They are obsessed with each other. If Tobes popped the question today, I wouldn’t be surprised!’ to which Millie insisted: ‘Chloe would definitely say yes!’

Millie and the Welsh hunk had the opportunity to meet their respective families on Sunday’s episode as the islanders’ loved ones arrived at the famous Spanish villa.

And Liam’s dad Paul was quick to pull his son up on his Casa Amor antics as he teased him: ‘We shouted at the TV a few times.’

Despite his questionable behaviour, both families offered their seal of approval and have been getting on like a house on fire after meeting on the show, according to Millie and Liam.

Loved up: Liam concurred:'It’s going to be huge, I’m sure I can pull it out of the bag. I’m sure I can do it'

‘Our parents meeting, before I’d even met them, they’d met each other. They got on very, very well! We couldn’t be happier,’ said Liam to which Millie added: ‘They went out for drinks!’

Liam’s family celebrated his victory with a wild party on Monday as they boogied to Sir Tom Jones’ hits with a cardboard cutout of the hunk.

The bricklayer admitted he is a massive fan of the Welsh singing legend and hopes to get his face inked on his body.

Liam revealed: ‘I want a leg sleeve, I started it last year. I’ve got Frank Sinatra, Muhammad Ali – I want icons and people who’ve been an inspiration to me.

‘I love music and boxing. I’m going to get Sir Tom on there. Stevie Wonder, maybe Elvis, Aretha Franklin.

‘Sir Tom – I’ve loved him since growing up. Me and my father we’ve always listened to him. He’s a credit to Wales. We’re very lucky to have him and he’s an absolute gentleman, he’s one of the most talented men I’ve ever seen.’

The couple are also hoping to get a group tattoo with their fellow Love Islanders as Millie confirmed: ‘Yeah, I’m getting a red love heart on the back of my arm. Me and Mary [Bedford], Chloe was going to get one as well.’

Liam added: ‘I think potentially the boys will have a love heart with a 7 in it [for series 7]. If we all get one that would be nice.’

Mentioning tattoo artist and fellow Islander Abigail Rawlings, Millie said: ‘If Abi can do it for us – 100%. She’s a great tattoo artist. I’d love that.’

Liam also admitted he loves being compared to Gavin & Stacey from the BBC show of the same name, which followed the love story between Welsh beauty Stacey and her Essex beau Gavin.

Delighted:'Yeah, definitely – family’s a massive thing for me, to have children one day is a dream, it’s something I really want,' the Welsh native said as he revealed they also want children

Delighted: ‘Yeah, definitely – family’s a massive thing for me, to have children one day is a dream, it’s something I really want,’ the Welsh native said as he revealed they also want children

Liam remarked: ‘I absolutely love Gavin & Stacey. It’s a classic – Essex/ Wales. It’s an amazing show – to be compared to that is a compliment, it’s funny. It is a real-life Gavin & Stacey!’

Millie concurred: ‘I love it! And everyone’s got to watch it all!’

According to the blonde beauty, she already has a great restaurant in mind for his first trip to Essex after Love Island.

‘Liam’s not been to Sheesh,’ she said, mentioning the celebrity hotspot. ‘So if I’m going to show him a bit of Essex, it’s going to have to be Sheesh.’

Doting: Millie added:'We’re both very family orientated, we both want kids. We both want to get married,' and Liam gushed:'That’s our plan, we’re on the same page'

Meanwhile the 22-year-old revealed he hopes to give his girlfriend a taste of the country life: ‘With Millie, I’d like to take her to Pen y Fan – I love a good walk. With my little dog.

‘Get Millie some walking boots. And also take her to a few of the pubs down in town and definitely venture off to Cardiff as Cardiff’s a cracking night out and Millie needs to experience it.’

When asked what his favourite moment was during their time in the villa, Liam reflected: ‘I think our final date in the castle, it was amazing. We’ve never experienced anything like that, to experience it together was amazing. We told each other we loved each other – it was a special moment. We’ll never forget that.’

Cute comparison: Liam also admitted he loves being compared to Gavin & Stacey from the BBC show of the same name, which followed the love story between Welsh beauty Stacey and her Essex beau Gavin (above Matthew Horn and Joanna Page in the show)

On how he would sum up their experience, he continued: ‘I think Love Island is amazing because you come there and you meet people you would never have met on the outside.

‘It puts you in a bubble almost where nothing else matters apart from building connections with people and it gives you the opportunity to find love like we have done.

‘Our journey has been absolutely amazing, we’ve had the ups, we’ve had the downs but it’s been an amazing journey and we’ve been lucky and privileged to say that and I wouldn’t change it for the world.’

Millie concluded: ‘It was a summer of a lifetime – I’ve loved every single minute of it.’
