The post continued: ‘Your character is who you are. Your reputation is who people think you are.’

Manu’s fellow SAS Australia recruits were quick to comment on the inspirational quote.

Former politician Emma Husar, who also voluntary left the show in the same episode, wrote, ‘Solid,’ with a clapping hand and heart emoji.

He dramatically handed in his number to chief instructor Ant Middleton, surrounded by his fellow recruits, after an underwater challenge was revealed.

‘I came on this course to prove something to myself, and I just realised I don’t need to prove anything,’ Manu boldly said to the camera shortly after his exit.

‘I’ve got a f**king good life. I’ve got a f**king good life, and I want it back,’ he added.

Manu still got paid in full despite only lasting two days on the popular Seven series.

It’s been revealed Feildel was only ever required to spend two days on the show to fulfil the obligations of the network contract he has had with Channel 7 since 2010.

SAS Australia continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Seven
