The couple were overjoyed after they welcomed their twins, Levi and Tate, on October 16.

The couple shared a touching image on Monday of the tiny boys holding onto their mother’s finger.
Melissa also shared some touching new details about their birth.
‘On October 16th, 2021, our lives changed forever. Our beautiful twin boys, Levi and Tate Ruthven entered this world 10 weeks earlier than expected,’ she wrote.

‘Our love for them is greater than anything we could have ever imagined and while these next 9 weeks are going to be agony as the battle their way through NICU and SCN, I cannot wait for that moment where they are in my arms on their way home.’
Doting dad and Melissa’s fiancé Bryce, also 32, was one of the first to comment on the post, writing: ‘Best thing to ever happen to us.’
The couple revealed their boys’ sweet and very unique names on Monday.
Bryce told New Idea they wanted to choose names that were ‘modern’ and ‘promoted positivity’ after the boys were born 10 weeks premature.
‘We wanted unique names that had a modern feel to them. We also wanted names that promote positivity for them and our new family,’ he explained.
‘Levi means “harmony among others” and Tate means “cheerful” so it suits them perfectly.’

Melissa added that Levi and Tate were their favourite names from the very start of the baby-naming process.
‘We had other names in mind, but we always came back to those two,’ she said.
On Sunday, Bryce took to his Instagram Stories to share footage of the engaged couple cradling the newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

Panning the camera over to Melissa, Bryce praised his fiancée for doing an ‘incredible job’ in calming down one of the boys.
Bryce announced the news soon after the birth in a statement to New Idea, revealing that Melissa had given birth two days earlier.
‘We had planned to spend the weekend building the nursery and setting things up for the twins, but that all changed early Saturday morning,’ he said.
‘Even though the boys have arrived early, they’re doing really well and are getting the best care possible.’
