MasterChef Australia judge Melissa Leong is known for her youthful complexion.
And on Monday, the 40-year-old’s makeup artist Maureen Moriarty revealed her best-kept beauty secrets and the makeup products she uses on set.
Maureen told Popsugar she always makes sure to prep Melissa’s skin before applying any makeup.

‘We do a serum and an Hourglass Primer and some moisturisers so you’ve got the base to go and then the foundation,’ she revealed.
She said she then uses MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid Foundation as Melissa’s base because it ‘blends out really nicely’.
After applying the base ,Maureen uses NARS Blush in the shade Orgasm and matches Melissa’s eyeshadow to her outfit.

‘If we’re doing a lighter lip, we’ll do a more smokier eye. If she’s wearing a bright lip, we’ll do a little bit lighter on the eyes,’ she explained.
Maureen also revealed she uses the matte lipsticks by MAC for Melissa because the colour lasts the longest when she is trying the dishes.
She said the most-used shade on Melissa is MAC’s Lady Danger, which is a bright coral red colour.

When it comes to Melissa’s co-stars Jock Zonfrillo and Andy Allen, the makeup artist said she uses Giorgio Armani’s Face Fabric foundation to achieve a natural look.
Maureen also revealed that she uses a a primer paired with an anti-shine cream prior to applying the foundation.
‘A primer is a really good thing to have because it’s like an undercoat of painting. You have a nice undercoat and it makes everything else a little bit flawless,’ she said.
