‘If I can use my resources to open doors and create opportunities for at least one student, then it’s a victory. It’s important that we encourage our students to pursue their passions and put them in positions to become the next game changer in whichever fields they choose.’

The Body singer — who has an estimated net worth of $3M — will reportedly also serve as a guest lecturer as part of the Industry Expert Speaker Series.

According to Roc Nation, the program will ‘prepare students for a wide range of careers in performance, entrepreneurship, all aspects of music, and sports business management.

Megan has been taking online courses part-time at Texas Southern University as she pursues a degree in Healthcare Administration in honor of her mother and grandmother.

‘I want to get my degree because I really want my mom to be proud,’ she told People in June 2020 after her mom Holly Thomas passed in March 2019 following a battle with brain cancer. ‘She saw me going to school before she passed. I want my big mama to be proud.’

And her grandmother died shortly thereafter — the WAP hitmaker also sharing that she was a teacher as well.

‘My grandmother that’s still alive used to be a teacher, so she’s on my butt about finishing school. I’m doing it for me, but I’m also doing it for the women in my family who made me who I am today.’

She has also taken to Twitter to give progress updates and stress the importance of education as well.

‘Although school is not for everyone do not let people discourage you from pursuing a higher education. We need the upcoming generation to with better mindsets to become our next lawyers, judges, doctors, etc. We need GOOD people with real morals and values in high places,’ she said last summer.

‘Mam Im abt to Graduate in the fall and still gone open my facility,’ she wrote.

She continued to tell the publication that she plans to use her rap income to open an assisted living facility.

‘I really wanted to be an administrator over a hospital, but I knew I still wanted to be Megan Thee Stallion. I was like, “What can I do?” I was like, “You know what, I’m gonna open an assisted-living facility and use the money that I make from rapping to open it. Then I’m gonna let my classmates run it,”‘ she said.

Best of both worlds: 'I really wanted to be an administrator over a hospital, but I knew I still wanted to be Megan Thee Stallion,' she said, adding that she still plans to open a facility that will ideally utilize her classmates to run the day to day
