US Weekly podcast hosts Molly Mulshine and Christina Garibaldi reflected on an interview from 2015 with Meghan Markle that has resurfaced. The pair agreed that it highlighted Meghan Markle’s personality and attitude to certain situations. The pair also noted it, in part, foreshadowed her eventual exit from the Royal Family.

This is despite the fact that Meghan had not even met her future husband Prince Harry yet.

Ms Garibaldi said: “This is actually interesting, a 2015 interview with Meghan Markle has been uncovered.

“Many people think it predicted her royal exit even before she met Prince Harry.

“Obviously, Meghan can’t predict the future but she did have some telling things to say on how she approached life.”

Ms Mulshine then went into greater detail about how Meghan described herself and how she dealt with certain situations.

Ms Mulshine said: “Yes, Meghan talked about how she was a girl boss.

“That is hilariously 2015, everyone was talking about being a girl boss back then, it wasn’t an ironic thing yet.

“She talked a lot about saying no to things, about being comfortable saying no and having a sense of self-worth.”

Early 2020 Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced after “many months of reflection and internal discussions” they would be stepping back from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family.

The announcement came after Meghan and Harry delivered a candid interview after their royal tour of Africa.

The pair announced that they were struggling in the spotlight and stunned the world with their decision to step down.
