Michelle Mone celebrates her 50th birthday in style

She’s a lingerie mogul, entrepreneur and parliamentarian.  

And well-rounded Michelle Mone revealed she’s also an expert in partying as she celebrated her 50th birthday with a soiree on  Thursday. 

The Ultimo founder sizzled in a busty black sequinned jumpsuit, teaming her party look with black court heels as she celebrated ‘in style’.

The blonde beauty had her gorgeous tresses styled in glamorous curls, whilst her rich make-up palette was applied by Karin Darnell.

The Scottish star took to Instagram to share her party antics, including her strutting her stuff along a red carpet and dancing on a table.

She wrote underneath her post: ‘Whilst I’ve learned a lot over the years, the one thing I’ve always known is how to party.’

She continued: ‘As it’s my big 5-0 there’s only one way to do it – in style. Just like my outfit, tonight will be filled with sparkles and of course…. plenty of bubbles and all my loved-ones!

The star also revealed that she’s got five parties planned for her birthday week, penning: ‘We have 5 parties planned with our family & friends–one for each fabulous decade. Let’s get the 1st one started.

‘Thanks to @itsdash and @karindarnell for helping me get ready.’

Her night out outfit isn’t the only look she’s served to her 110k followers in recent moments, dressing down slightly in a caramel mini skort and thigh-high boots for a picture on Friday afternoon.

Despite her heavy night out, Michelle managed to look fresh as a daisy in her autumnal ensemble as she headed for lunch alongside her friends and family.

Michelle has been showing off her slim physique after years of struggles with her weight, having reached and maintained a size eight.

In 2020, she candidly revealed to MailOnline how she previously ballooned to a size 22, and at one point weighed in at almost 18 stone.

Michelle explained how she was ‘abusing myself’ when she was at her heaviest, adding that her issue with her size left her feeling depressed.

Michelle admitted that her weight left her feeling at an all-time low, but the it was the support of her parents that helped her on her weight-loss journey.

‘I was at my heaviest and had three children running around me and [I was] launching Ultimo around the world. I was getting bigger and bigger.

‘I was abusing myself. I was on antidepressants from the doctor. It was awful.’

The Scottish native went on to overhaul her lifestyle and dropped a whopping eight stone over the years.
