Morrisons shoppers have not been able to collect points on their More cards for the last couple of weeks following changes to the system. The supermarket has shared more details on what will happen to pre-existing points.
Instead of collecting points, shoppers can get instant rewards when buying groceries.
The supermarket chain stated offers will be personalised and based on what customers typically buy.
The last day shoppers were able to collect points was on May 9 and some had racked up a huge amount of points before that date.
This week, the supermarket shared an update on those waiting to find out how their points can now be used.
DON’T MISS
Posting on Twitter, Morrisons wrote: “We will communicate soon to all of our customers about any remaining points balance as we don’t want anyone to lose out.
“Please keep an eye out for an email or letter as one will be sent out soon!”
Although the supermarket has detailed those with remaining points won’t miss out, some shoppers still shared their frustrations at the changes.
Some claimed they have not been happy with their rewards under the new system.
A third stated: “I have 4995 points on my More card. I went shopping and scanned the card but it has not added points, so does that mean they have stopped and I will not not get my last £5 voucher?
“So close I was going to treat myself.”
Another agreed and claimed they were unable to use the vouchers they had earned in the way they wanted.
The shopper posted: “They are defaulting app setting for the fiver More card vouchers back to ‘online vouchers’ then that way you can’t spend in store, you have to spend £40 online.”
