The outing comes after Myleene broke down last week  over her four devastating miscarriages and admitted that she couldn’t enjoy being pregnant with son Apollo for fear of being told ‘there’s no heartbeat.’

Appearing on Lorraine, the former Hear’Say singer shared a clip from her upcoming documentary for W, and discussed the impact miscarriage has had on her.

In a clip from her upcoming documentary, Myleene explained: ‘I was about to fly home for a D&C. I woke up and it was bleeding and it wasn’t like normal bleeding.’

The star broke down as she heartbreakingly confessed: ‘I just knew. There was no warning. I just woke up and it’s just that empty sinking feeling. It just hits you.’

A D&C, a Dilation and curettage, is a surgical procedure to remove tissue from inside the uterus.

The singer then told Lorraine in her ITV studio: ‘I think for all the woman – and there are 20,000 of us in the UK every single month – for all the women that this happens to, I think the first port of call is blame.

‘I think the language around miscarriage – miss, you miss something – It’s just always so negative. A failed pregnancy, an incompetent cervix.

‘It just goes on and on, “how did you lose the baby?” and so immediately the first thing you do, is you look inwardly. That’s part of the reason why I wanted to make this documentary.

‘You already feel like you’ve failed, and you look for that safety in numbers with other women who’ve been through this.’
