    Nicholas Hoult ‘in final talks’ to appear alongside Anya Taylor-Joy and Ralph Fiennes in the upcoming Searchlight dark comedy flick The Menu

    Nicholas Hoult is reportedly in final talks to be added to the cast of the upcoming dark comedy film The Menu.

    The news about the 31-year-old actor was first broken by The Hollywood Reporter, who noted that, should the performer join the project’s team, he would be featured alongside Anya Taylor-Joy, who had already signed on to appear in the flick.

    The forthcoming motion picture will be directed by Mark Mylod, who is best known for his work on the HBO series Game Of Thrones and Succession.

    The Menu will be centered on a young couple who visit a remote island to visit a highly exclusive restaurant.

    After enjoying a tasting menu prepared by a highly acclaimed chef, the pair begin to experience various surprises throughout their stay.

    Ralph Fiennes will portray the individual who creates the couple’s meal.

    Earlier this month, it was announced that Hong Chau had also joined the cast, although her role was not specified.

    Storyline: The Menu will be centered on a couple who travels to a restaurant on a remote island and begins experiencing numerous surprises after enjoying a meal prepared by a renowned chef; Fiennes is pictured in 2018

    The screenplay will be penned by Seth Reiss and Will Tracey, the latter of whom also worked on Succession.

    Adam McKay and Betsy Koch are currently set to serve as producers on the project.

    Alexander Payne was previously set to direct the feature, although he eventually left its team.

    Emma Stone originally signed on to star in the film before leaving and being replaced by Taylor-Joy.

    The Menu currently does not have a scheduled release date, and it is not known when production will begin.

    Hoult’s most recent film appearance was in Those Who Wish Me Dead.

    The Taylor Sheridan-directed feature was based on Michael Koryta’s 2014 novel of the same name. 

    The film is centered around a boy who witnesses the murder of his father and is subsequently taken in by a smokejumper living in the forests of Montana, played by Angelina Jolie.

    The actor played one half of a duo of assassins who were dispatched in order to kill the kid’s family and bring him to a mob boss.

    Other performers who were involved with the feature include Jon Bernthal, Tyler Perry and Aidan Gillen.

    The film made its debut in Seoul this past May, and it later experienced a wide release on the 14th of that month.

    Those Who Wish Me Dead received mixed to positive reviews from critics, many of whom praised the direction of the Yellowstone creator.
