The poetry was a reference to poet and author Terrance Hayes, 49, who she was spotted holding hands with over the summer.

Andy, 53, also added just for the record that Padma has always been into poetry no matter who she was dating.

‘Correct,’ said Padma, who appeared on the show along with Get Out movie producer Jason Blum, 52.

Padma appeared in the Bravo clubhouse to promote her new four-part docuseries Taste The Nation: Holiday Edition, which premieres on November 4 on Hulu.

Viewers also wanted to know from Padma which one of her celebrity friends surprised her by being good cooks.

Padma answered that comedians Ali Wong and Michelle Buteau were both good cooks and shared that Michelle just sent her a video of her tomato sauce.

‘Michelle and I have this great relationship where we don’t leave each other voicemails, we send each other videos of whatever we are doing,’ said Padma. ‘And she is so funny.’

She said they finished the main season, but still had to film the finale. She did say that the contestants were really great ‘like Voltaggio Brothers great’

Andy also played a game with Padma called ‘Has! Padma Tried It?’ to find out which American delicacy has yet to cross the ‘threshold of her mouth.’ Jason had to guess whether Padma had tried something and if he got it wrong he had to eat from a bowl of crickets.

It turned out that Padma had tried live octopus sushi, scrapple, rattlesnake, bull penis, pigs tails, ambrosia fruit salad, peanut butter, banana and bacon sandwich and turducken, but not maggot cheese, fried tarantulas, puffer fish, or emu.
