Peter Andre has revealed David Schwimmer requested him to sing at his wedding reception back in 2010.

The Friends star, 54, married  Zoë Buckman, 35, in a secret ceremony back in 2010 and had a star-studded guest list, including Thandiwe Newton and David Walliams.

And, ahead of Friends’ one-off reunion episode, Pete, 48, said how he thought it was a ‘wind-up’ when David asked him to meet him at a London hotel to ask him to perform at his wedding.

Pete wrote in his New! Magazine column: ‘I know everyone is really excited about the Friends reunion, but I’ve actually never watched a single episode! Bizarrely, I did sing at David Schwimmer’s wedding in 2010, though.

‘I got a call saying he wanted to meet me and I thought it was a wind-up. I went to a London hotel to meet him and we started talking and he said to me “I’d love you to sing at our wedding”

‘And so I did. It was definitely strange seeing Thandiwe Newton and David Walliams in the same room, singing along to a song I never even knew they knew. It was wonderful.’

The former couple have remained good friends and have a daughter Cleo, 10.

The Friends special sees the return of the full original cast Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry.
