‘Our management had to say it was too much’: Leigh-Anne Pinnock details the difficulties she and fellow expectant mum Perrie Edwards are facing by working while pregnant
She announced her pregnancy last month, just days before her bandmate Perrie Edwards revealed she was also expecting.
And now that the secret is out, Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock has revealed that the duo struggled with filming their new video due to their changing shapes.
Speaking to Sian Welby and Roman Kemp on Capital Breakfast, Leigh-Anne detailed what life was like working on-set while pregnant.

The group have just released Heartbreak Anthem – a collaboration with David Guetta – and in the video the trio were dressed as angels, something which she revealed was somewhat problematic with their changing frames.
Sian said:’ Let’s talk about the music video, firstly you looked absolutely stunning, it’s a statement not a question, you looked gorgeous…
‘Obviously now in hindsight I’m thinking, you and Perrie were doing this really intricate choreography, pregnant! Was it a nightmare?’
Weighing in on the scenes, Leigh-Anne, who is expecting the baby with her fiancé Andre Grey, said: ‘Those wings were so heavy!…

‘Like, honestly there was a point in the video where we are bending over like this with them because they were that heavy because they were mechanical….
‘So whenever the mechanic device was on us it was like “oh!” management had to be like “that’s enough now, we’ve got to stop it” because it just got too much!…
‘But I really hope people appreciate that and see the work we put into that, because it was hard!’

Sian went on: ‘We’re here for it! When you last came in Leigh-Anne you said on your last song that it was the best music video you’ve ever done and that was when you were dressed up as boys…
‘We’ve seen you tackle moments, you’ve just done angels, what’s next? What do you want to put on the list because you’re firing for these music videos now!’
Leigh-Anne joked: ‘Oh god, well honestly what could possibly be next? I mean, we don’t have many options with these big old bellies [laughs]. But I’m sure we have can figure something…we’ll keep surprising you guys!
On touring with the babies, she said: ‘Well the bubbas are going to be obviously of a certain age so we’re just going to have to have a creche on tour basically… We’re going to have to. Do you guys want to come and help and be nannies?’
