After a long legal battle with French socialite Isabelle de Rouvre, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have reached an agreement and sold their impressive Swiss chalet.

The couple bought the chalet to enjoy with their daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.

“They have bought the chalet as a family investment.

“Neither of them have their own property and wanted to buy the chalet as an asset to leave to their children.

“They holiday in Verbier several times each year as all the family are keen skiers and it makes sense to have their own place there,” a source told The Mail back in 2015.

The property features seven rooms and breathtaking panoramic views.

The chalet had six permanent staff including a chef.

Some of the luxurious features included an indoor swimming pool, sauna, sun terrace, and bar.

The impressive heated indoor pool had stunning views across the resort in the Swiss Alps.

Andrew has the upper floor and attic while Sarah had the lower floor and basement.

The couple shared the garden area.

In 2020, the Duke of York and his former wife were sued by the French socialite Isabelle de Rouvre for an unpaid debt on the property of £6.7 million.

In September 2021, de Rouvre reportedly withdrew the lawsuit as the couple repaid the debt after selling the property for £17.3 million.
