Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to take 'proper time off' work when new baby is born

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are already parents to Archie, are expecting a daughter in the summer. When the tot arrives, Harry and Meghan will reportedly take a break from their busy work.

A source told Page Six: “They will both take some proper time off.

“It will be the summer and they want to make sure they both take their leave so they have some real quality time together once the baby arrives.”

Harry and Meghan revealed they were expecting a little girl in the summer during their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview.

The Duke said: “It’s a girl.”

Asked how he felt, Harry added: “Amazing.”

He continued: “Just grateful to have any child.

“Any, one or two, would have been amazing but to have a boy and then a girl what more can you ask for?

“Now we’ve got our family, we got the four of us and our two dogs.”

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”

Harry and Meghan are starting new lives in America after quitting as working royals in March 2020.

They have set up home in an £11 million mansion with their two-year-old son.

As they launch new careers across the pond, the pair have signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify, while Harry has secured a number of jobs including the role of chief impact officer at coaching company BetterUp.
