Publicity queen Roxy Jacenko shows off her dramatic new look

Roxy Jacenko was practically unrecognisable in a photo posted to Instagram on Wednesday.

The 41-year-old PR maven showed off a dramatic brunette hairdo, and simply wrote: ‘I felt like a change.’ 

Roxy – who normally has a blonde bob haircut – looked completely different with long raven-coloured locks.

She also wore dramatic Halloween-inspired stage makeup, which looked like it was melting off her face.

And Roxy won plenty of praise in the comments section, with fans loving her new look.

‘Wow! You look so different. Amazing,’ wrote one person, while another commented, ‘Dark hair looks gorgeous on you’.

‘This is amazzzzing,’ wrote another fan, adding a flame and red love heart emojis. 

Despite winning compliments with her new look, it was only a temporary change, with Roxy revealing it was a wig in a post on Instagram Stories.

‘Now I am going to remove the wig,’ she said in a video, before explaining the wig had been put on professionally using ‘a gum’.

As she slowly pulled it away from her hairline, Roxy showed how it was ‘secured to the head’, making it look like her natural hair.

‘It’s actually quite satisfying,’ she said as she pulled off the hair to reveal her wig cap underneath. 

Roxy then removed the wig cap, exposing her blonde bob underneath, and proceeded to scrub away the remainder of the ‘gum’ residue.
