Radio producer's guide to picking up women in Sydney's eastern suburbs

Kyle and Jackie O producer ‘Snappy Tom’ Whitaker has shared his ultimate pick-up guide for Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

On Wednesday’s show, the KIIS FM staffer began by saying you can always identify a single girl in the east by their fresh blow-dry, designer Louis Vuitton bag and P.E Nation outfit – despite being nowhere near a gym.

Tom also said a lot of girls who work in public relations are single, and named the Bondi to Bronte walk and Italian restaurant Totti’s as the perfect ‘pick-up’ locations.

The segment began with Tom saying how a girl from the east would most likely not be offended if she was approached by a guy, even if she’s already in a relationship.

‘If you did that in the east, it’s kind of a form of flattery,’ he explained – and radio host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson wholeheartedly agreed.

‘She would think, “I’ve still got it,”‘ said Jackie, who lives in Vaucluse, adding that the woman’s husband wouldn’t ‘even care’ because they’re probably ‘a big executive’.

Tom then explained how to identify a single girl in the east, noting how they often have a weekly ‘fresh blow-dry from Joh Bailey’s salon’.

They are also usually ‘carrying some form of Louis Vuitton or Yves Saint Laurent bag,’ he said, adding that Gucci would be considered ‘lower class’.

‘Even if she’s not near a gym, she would be wearing P.E Nation,’ he continued.

Tommy suggested a girl ‘might be single if she works in PR’, as he has a lot of friends in that industry who are ‘blonde, single and up for it’.

He and Jackie agreed the best places to pick up are the Bondi to Bronte coastal walk or Italian restaurant Totti’s in Bondi.

A day earlier, another KIIS FM producer, Pedro Cuccovillo Vitola, shared his guide to seduction – this time for the streets of Sydney’s western suburbs.

Pedro said men should get ‘neck tatts’ and start referring to women as ‘rats’.

While some of his tips were obviously jokes, Jackie was appalled by the suggestion that a woman’s relationship status can be divined by her choice of clothing.

‘If she’s wearing a midriff top or just a bra, she’s single, she’s ready to go,’ Pedro said.

Jackie scoffed: ‘What a load of s**t this is!’

Pedro added that after conducting a great deal of research in Sydney’s west, he discovered that women love men who can supply drugs.

‘You always need to have pingas available… or any sort of drugs,’ he said.

Thanks for the advice! Pedro (pictured with his wife Patty) shared several tidbits for gentlemen from'the area', including that they should get'neck tatts' and start referring to women as'rats'

At this stage, Kyle clarified that Pedro was not encouraging listeners to partake in illegal activity.

The staffer went on to share two more suggestions for western Sydney singletons.

‘The last thing you need is to have a criminal record and if you really want to get laid, you need to have an ankle monitor,’ he said.

‘Pedro, this is the worst thing you’ve ever done,’ Jackie replied.
