Playboy may have stopped publishing in print last year, but that hasn’t stopped Rihanna from catching up on the back issues.

The 33-year-old pop superstar and lingerie mogul shared a playful Instagram post on Saturday showing her reading a vintage copy of the men’s magazine while covering up her topless torso.

She also appeared to show off her iconic pixie cut after returning to the look earlier this month.

Rihanna had her bust carefully hidden by the open Playboy, which was blurred from motion.

She was playfully laid back on an unusual furry black bench or stool situated next to a lavender velvet curtain.

As usual, the 5ft8in We Found Love singer represented her Savage X Fenty brand with a pair of purple patterned boxers that are out of stock.

She had her toned legs curled up in the air and added some extra color to the risqué ensemble with tall neon yellow socks and brilliant white loafers.

Rihanna has been keeping a low profile lately, even as her beau A$AP Rocky confirmed their romance and declared she was the ‘love of [his] life’ in an interview with GQ.

‘The love of my life. My lady,’ he said in a loved-up reverie. ‘So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones.’

The two have been the subject of romance rumors going back to 2013, but it wasn’t until she ended things with her billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel that things started to heat up between the two musicians.

Rocky (born Rakim Mayers) even sounded excited about the prospect of kids, though he joked that other rappers influenced by him were almost the same thing.

‘I think I’m already a dad!’ he joked. ‘All these motherf***ers are already my sons — whatchu talkin’ ’bout!’

According to him, his relationship with Rihanna hasn’t just been romantic, but is also artistically fulfilling.

‘I think it’s important to have somebody that you can bounce those creative juices and ideas off of,’ he said of his newest songs for this upcoming All Smiles album..

‘It’s just a different point of view,’ he explained, calling the lead track on the album a ‘ghetto love tale’ which is ‘way more mature’ than his earlier songs about lavish lifestyles and partying.

Rihanna may have music of her own coming soon, according to a report earlier this month in The Sun.

According to an insider, she has several new projects in the works that are ‘coming together,’ including a new music video.

‘Rihanna has been secretly working on new music for a long time and her ninth album has finally come together. She has kept fans waiting for a long time — and the pandemic slowed things up even more,’ the source said.

The source added that the Work singer has already picked a director by the name of Raja Virdi for the ‘tightly guarded’ project.’

‘The project is still tightly under wraps but Rihanna will be filming a new music video in Los Angeles in July. Raja has been brought on board by Rihanna and her team, and he will be flying out to oversee everything.’

Rihanna’s fans have been calling out for new music in recent years, as her last album, Anti, was released back in 2016.
