Rosario Dawson steps out in a chic blazer and flowing black skirt

Rosario Dawson stepped out in a stylish ensemble just hours after her new series Dopesick premiered. 

The actress, 42, wore a white collared shirt underneath a black suit jacket. She donned a skirt that flowed all the way down to her ankles. 

She held a black canvas bag on her left arm and wore a face covering colored a few different shades of blue.

The Daredevil actress’ curly hair was tied back in a ponytail though she tied it loose enough to allow some of her locks to cascade down the left side of her head. 

Dawson has worn a number of fancy outfits in recent days as she’s attended different events in preparation for Dopesick’s release. 

The show, based on the book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors and the Drug Company that Addicted America, follows different characters as they deal with the opioid crisis spurred on by Richard Sackler of Purdue Pharma.

The Rent star plays a member of the Drug Enforcement Agency in the series that also stars Michael Keaton, Michael Stuhlbarg and Kaitlyn Dever. 

Dawson has a number of projects other than Dopesick on her calendar as well. She is currently filming DMZ, a series set in the dystopian future where Manhattan has become a demilitarized zone. 

She will also return to a couple of her past roles over the next couple years. Dawson is set to play Alma in Clerks III, a character she originated in the second film, and she will star as Jedi Master Ahsoka Tano in Ahsoka.

As for her personal life, the star moved in with her boyfriend, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, last summer. 

The pair met in 2018 after attending a part of a mutual friend. While they’re clearly head over heels about one another now, Booker made it clear that wasn’t the case at first. 

‘She didn’t give me the time of day,’ Booker said on RuPaul’s talk show.’ She gave me serious shade.’ 

Booker and Dawson kept running in to each other though and, eventually, Booker worked up the nerve to ask Dawson for her phone number.  

Happy with her man: Dawson is still dating Senator Cory Booker, seen here in August, and the pair even moved in together in the summer of 2020
