Royal wedding JOY! Glamourous Venetian affair sends fans wild as bride stuns in Italy

Countess Vera Arrivabene, 28, and Count Briano Martinoni Caleppi wed at the church of San Pantalon last weekend.

The countess wore a stunning Prada gown and a pearl and diamond tiara that her mother, Princess Bianca of Savoy-Aosta, wore on her wedding day in 1988.

It originally belonged to the late Graziella dei Conti Brandolini D’Add, the bride’s paternal grandmother

Alongside sister Viola, the socialite manages the luxury brand ViBiVenezia, a line of hand-crafted Venetian slippers known as furlanes. While she is in charge of the marketing, Viola takes care of the designs.

Husband Briano, meanwhile, worked for Prada for seven years before launching his own business, C’est la vie, of which he is the director.

Given that both are descendants of Count Giberto Arrivabene Valenti Gonzaga and Nobile Clotilde Vera of Conti Papadopoli Aldobrandini, he is Vera’s second cousin once removed.

The granddaughter of Princess Claude d’Orléans and the Duke of Aosta, who died last June, is the second of five children. Her business endeavours with Viola suggest the two are the closest among all sisters.

They are in fact often seen together at events such as the Venice International Film Festival or Milan Fashion Week and are both ambassadors for Dior.
