Ryan Reynolds cuts a casual figure as he enjoys brisk walk in NYC

Ryan Reynolds seemed keen to get a little exercise and fresh air as he enjoyed a brisk walk with one of he and Blake Lively’s dogs. 

The 45-year-old Free Guy star was seen out with the pair’s furry brown pooch on Monday afternoon in New York City, where he kept warm in a down vest. 

The couple had enjoyed a weekend out on the town as they supported the Gossip Girl alum’s best friend Taylor Swift at her Saturday Night Live taping before the trio headed to an after party.

Ryan showed off his fall fashion as he donned a cozy cashmere sweater and a pair of fitted navy slacks with white high tops. 

Bracing for a temperature drop, he draped a blue puffer vest on top and was seen representing his Welsh soccer team Wrexham A.F.C. on a baseball cap. 

The Deadpool star also looked to use the walk as an opportunity to listen to some music as he flashed a pair of red ear buds.  

He kept the dog close and was seen safely checking for oncoming traffic before making his way across the street.

Simple pleasures: Last month Reynolds announced he would be taking an acting sabbatical to spend more time with he and Lively’s three young daughters 

Though he was seen solo, over the weekend he spent some quality time with wife Blake and her good pal Swift who was the SNL guest on November 13. 

The couple of nine years were backstage with the Bad Blood singer and following the live show headed to the after party at L’Avenue. 

Making a venture into the world of directing, the A Simple Favor actress additionally directed and co-wrote Taylor’s new video I Bet You Think About Me, which dropped Monday. 

And though Blake may be stepping into a new avenue, Ryan revealed last month that he will be taking an acting sabbatical in the near future.

After a busy 2021 which included starring in three feature films: Free Guy, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, and the newly released Red Notice, Reynolds announced that following his next project Spirited, he will be focusing on being a hands-on father. 

The couple share three daughters together: James, six, Inez, five, and Betty, two. 

‘…The main point is that I’m there for my kids in the morning and night and I’m getting up with them and I’m putting them to bed at night,’ he told Fatherly. 

‘Those are things that I think they should be able to take for granted. Those are not things that should feel special in any way, shape, or form,’ he said adding: ‘I’m not going to be shooting any films for a while.’
