    Self-described Z-listers Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks kept audiences up-to-date with all the reality gossip from across the globe earlier this year, on their hit show.

    And now MailOnline can exclusively reveal the BFFs and stars of Made in Chelsea and TOWIE, are returning for a second season of Pete & Sam’s Reality News on E4.

    Premiering on Monday October 18, the reality stars will once again spill the tea across seven episodes, getting the inside scoop from celebrity events and parties.

    Sam, 29, of Made in Chelsea fame, and Pete, 32, of The Only Way Is Essex, will dissect some of the juiciest rows, romances, and highs and lows from reality TV.  

    The lads will be sent out of the studio and into the real world, not only attending VIP events but also adding their own unique tongue-in-cheek reporting.  

    Following on from season one, the show will also feature up-and-coming comedic and presenting talent, who will weigh in on the latest gossip in the reality TV world.  

    Viewers can tune in across E4’s digital platforms including Snapchat, YouTube and Instagram, in addition to airing on E4 every Monday evening.

    Series one was a huge success, with a 3.5million estimated views on Snapchat and 3.2million views on Facebook.   

    ‘Unfortunately I have to work with Sam again. We tried to replace him but his name is in the show’s title and there were no other Sams available,’ Pete said of the new series, in his signature tongue-in-cheek style.

    Sam added: ‘I couldn’t be more excited for the fact that series two is coming! It’s like a dream come true. We’re back and bigger than ever. I’ve bought some new suits as we’re a prime-time news show. I’ve told the family and they’re really happy that I’ve got a job now!’

    Sam said in a statement:'I couldn't be more excited for the fact that series two is coming! It's like a dream come true. We're back and bigger than ever. I've bought some new suits as we're a prime-time news show. I've told the family and they're really happy that I've got a job now!'

    The duo first met on Celebs Go Dating in 2018 and have become fast friends, often taking part in hilarious viral TikTok challenges together. 

    Sam previously new! Magazine: ‘I spent the whole of Celebs Go Dating with a metaphoric sledgehammer breaking down [Pete’s] emotional barriers.

    ‘When I first met him I thought, “we could be best mates,” so I carried on chipping away and by the end of it the barrier came fully down and he told me he loved me.’

    Pete chimed in: ‘I did say that, but I just want to point out that he got so carried away with it that my barrier went back up again. If you give him an inch, he’ll take a mile.’ 

    The second season of Pete & Sam’s Reality News premieres on E4 on Monday October 18.
