The good life! Samantha Armytage looks VERY relaxed as she shows off her naturally white hair while lounging on the couch in Ugg boots… three months after leaving Sunrise

She officially left Sunrise in March to focus on her personal life after marrying businessman Richard Lavender.

And Samantha Armytage certainly seems to be enjoying her new life away from the spotlight.

On Saturday, the 44-year-old shared a photo of herself lounging on the couch and watching television with her beloved dog Banjo.

She looked unrecognisable compared to her days on the Channel Seven morning show, with her hair now a natural shade of white instead of the yellow blonde tresses she used to sport.

Sam kept things comfortable and casual in a pair of black leggings, a grey wool sweater and a pair of Ugg boots.

A TV tray holding a glass of water, a remote control and a magazine was in front of her.

The former Sunrise co-host seems to be letting her hair grow out naturally now that she’s no longer on TV.

During a public appearance at the races in April, she had noticeably more natural roots while the rest of her hair was still dyed blonde.

Now that more than three months have passed since her last TV appearance, Sam’s blonde dye job seems to have mostly grown out and faded away.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in late April, the 44-year-old candidly admitted: ‘I barely brush my hair and put a bit of lipstick on these days, and it is lovely.

‘It is absolutely bliss to not have to worry about hair and makeup for this part of my career.’

Since leaving the show after eight years on-air as co-host, Sam is now fronting her own podcast called Something To Talk About for Stellar magazine.

‘The beauty of this podcast is that it doesn’t matter whether you are right or left in politics, whether you are male or female, I want to hear your story,’ she added.

Her resignation announcement followed months of rumours she was preparing to spend more time with Richard and her dog Banjo at his country estate in the Southern Highlands.

Sam started dating Richard, 61, in April 2019, and announced their engagement in June last year.

She tied the knot with the millionaire businessman on New Year’s Eve, in a quaint ceremony at his Southern Highlands home.

Their intimate wedding ceremony featured only a small number of guests due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with Richard’s daughters, Sasha and Grace, believed to be in attendance.
