‘I still can’t believe that I’ve been singled out about my culture and my race – I’ve been told that I’m a token Aboriginal model, and that I’m only a model because I’m Aboriginal,’ she said at the time.

‘I know it says a lot more about the person than me, but to hear that and to read that in this day and age, it’s really sad and not right.’

She added: ‘For people to single you out, and single a race out, it’s not right.’
