SAS Australia fans slam the show for forcing model Erin Holland to carry Dan Ewing on her back during ‘impossible’ challenge

Erin Holland was the second celebrity to quit SAS Australia during Tuesday’s episode.

The 32-year-old model handed in her armband after failing to carry Dan Ewing on her back around an assault course.

And fans watching at home felt the challenge was unfair, with the slender beauty forced to haul around a full-grown man.

Many posted their concerns on Twitter, with one writing: ‘Why give Erin the second biggest guy to carry?’

Someone else agreed: ‘Erin will never manage to carry Dan.’

Another person Tweeted: ‘Could just as well have asked Erin to run 100m in eight seconds.

‘Physically impossible for her to carry that guy without damaging her back. Absolute BS.’

One more chimed in: ‘Trying to work out why they gave Erin a guy twice her size to carry. There’s no way she could courage her way through that.’

Someone else added: ‘Surprised they didn’t get Erin to try lift Burgess haha’.

Yet one more felt that they felt she had made a good effort, writing: ‘Kudos to Erin. Wow. She tried!’

During the episode, Chief instructor Ant Middleton had given Erin the near-impossible task as a chance to redeem herself, after she failed to complete some exercises earlier in the day.

But after a number of failed attempts to lift the strapping actor, Erin announced that she couldn’t go on – especially knowing that the other recruits were being savagely punished with more gruelling exercises until she finished.

‘I can’t do that to them. I can’t,’ she said to Ant, before handing in her arm band.

SAS Australia continues Wednesday at 7.30pm on Channel Seven
