‘Sense of camaraderie!’ Ellie Goulding lays bare parenting advice with Princess Eugenie

    In the upcoming November Issue of Tatler due on September 30, the award-winning singer laid bare her experiences of becoming a mum for the first time. She also disclosed sharing parenting advice with her close friend Princess Eugenie.

    The British songwriter said: “There’s a huge sense of camaraderie among new mums, not only dealing with being pregnant, but then breastfeeding and just figuring it all out.

    “It seems like motherhood is a time when you can never say too much about what’s going on, and I’m grateful for that.”

    Princess Eugenie welcomed her first child August Philip Hawke on February 9 2021.

    Ellie Goulding’s first child, Arthur Ever Winter, arrived soon after on April 29.

    The singer has been married to her husband Caspar Jopling since 2019.

    Caspar is an art dealer who works at Sotheby’s in strategy and Contemporary Art.

    Caspar’s dad is The Hon Nicholas Jopling of Yorkshire and his mother Jayne Warde-Aldam of Yorkshire.

    Ms Goulding continued: “I’ve had to strike a balance between going back to work and being with Arthur.

    He wrote: “Mum and baby both healthy and happy. Extremely grateful.”

    Ellie kept her pregnancy private until she was eight months pregnant.

    Ellie Goulding has previous connections with the royal family, she sang at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011.
