Sex And The City’s Chris Noth celebrates Sarah Jessica Parker as they wrap And Just Like That: ‘Love every minute we get to be together’

Their time as on-screen lovers is rumored to be over.

But Sex And The City co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth looked closer than ever in a cozy snap after an evening shoot for the reboot And Just Like That… in New York’s Madison Square Park.

Noth, 66, wrapped his arm around leading lady SJP, 56, while the duo looked at each other fondly in the Instagram snap, which was captioned: ‘Late night finish in the park- love every minute we get to be together.’

The fate of Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big’s relationship has been up for debate since Parker was seen smooching John Tenney, the actor who plays Big’s love rival Aiden Shaw, during a shoot earlier this month.

Noth was a regular on SATC through its entire six-season run and he also appeared in the two feature film spin-offs.

But SJP and Noth seemed to signal a fairytale ending when they were spotted holding hands with each other while cameras rolled on Sunday night.

Noth’s Instagram made it appear as if the pair was celebrating the end of shooting, seen with two disposable cups in hand.

Just yesterday, Sarah Jessica said she was ‘feeling sentimental’ as she marked the end of production with a touching social media post.

‘This is my last walk, for now, as Carrie,’ the actress confessed from behind her camera, for a video she posted on Instagram on Monday.

‘Just wrapped an adventure and I’m feeling very sentimental,’ she said, pausing a bit before adding: ‘And that’s it – wow.’

Parker and showrunner Michael Patrick King got the idea of a new chapter of Sex And The City story while discussing the idea of a podcast about the original show during the first couple months of the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in mid-March 2020.

They were intrigued at the prospect of seeing how coronavirus crisis, and all of the political and social strife of the times, would have affected the leading ladies.

Like the original series, New York City will still be the focal point of the storyline, only this time through the lens of the pandemic and the subsequent fallout.

While most of the gang is back, actress Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones on the original series and two movies, did not return for the new show.
