Mourners began gathering as early as Monday, and by Wednesday morning many people had joined the queue forming on nearby streets and along the banks of the River Thames.

Queen Elizabeth II has spent her final night at Buckingham Palace before the Royal Family leads a procession of her coffin to Westminster Hall, where she will lie in state until Monday’s funeral.

Sharon, 69, joined mourners who have descended to London city in order to pay their final respects to the late monarch.

The TalkTV presenter wore a pair of plain black trousers teamed with a trench coat as Ozzy Osbourne’s wife lifted her hand in a prayer symbol.

She gave a small smile to the crowd as the broadcaster joined a queue to see the Queen at Westminster Hall.
