'Showed confidence!' Sunderland Brexit voters hailed for helpin secure huge Nissan deal

    Business minister Kwasi Kwarteng spoke to GB News while standing at Nissan’s new factory in Sunderland. Mr Kwarteng noted that many people said Brexit would result in Nissan leaving the country for Europe however he argued this was a great opportunity for the UK. Mr Kwarteng was also directly asked by the GB News reporter whether these jobs would be worked by the local community and he was able to give a clear answer. 

    He said workers from the North East of England will be able to enjoy well-paying jobs as the wages are above the national average.
