‘Hi guys, just wanted to jump on and address one of my comments made on my Q&As last night and my poor choice of phrasing. Lachlan and I have a healthy, balanced sexual life,’ she began.

Setting the record straight, Skye continued: ‘I have never been in a situation with Lachlan where he [has] done anything he hasn’t wanted to do sexually or vice versa. At no point would I ever do anything to another human being that they don’t consent to.’

The Gold Coast influencer went on to apologise for her ‘poor choice of wording’ and explained that neither she nor Lachlan have ever forced or manipulated the other to have sex.

‘I understand my words were completely insensitive and triggering and I am truly, deeply sorry for that. I am ashamed to have posted that without even considering the effect it could have on my followers,’ she lamented.

Skye finished her post by promising not to be so ‘impulsive’ when communicating with her large audience in future.

‘I take FULL responsibility and am 100% committed to making sure I take steps forward to make better decisions of what I say in the future,’ she promised.
