Suki took to Instagram last week to share a picture of herself on the set of the show in which she plays Karen Sirko.

She captioned the snap: ‘Day 1!! DAISY ❤️ JONES ❤️ AND ❤️ THE ❤️ SIX.’

She is starring in the mini-series alongside Riley Keough, who plays the title character, along with Sam Claflin, Nabiyah Be, Joshua Whitehouse, Will Harrison and Chacon.

The series is based on the book of the same name which, rather than following a traditional narrative, is comprised almost completely of dialogue and takes the form of interview transcripts for a documentary about a fictional band.

Riley stars as the leader of a band that becomes massively popular in the 1970s before imploding at the height of its fame.
