The Bachelorette cast revealed

The 2021 cast of The Bachelorette had been revealed.   

Brooke Blurton, 26, a social worker from Western Australia, is making history as the first ever bisexual Bachelorette. 

The eight men and eight women vying for Brooke Blurton’s heart include a landscaper, an AFL player and filmmaker. 

The hopefuls come from all over Australia, and each of them is looking for love with the stunning brunette. 

Beau, 34, a photographer from NSW

Beau describes himself as ‘Happy, funny, fit, cheeky and driven’ and ‘devilishly handsome!’ 

‘My last relationship was five years ago. It ended because she had an opportunity to live overseas, so we called it off. We were together for five years,’ he says. 

He also says that he is happy to be a professional Instagram boyfriend. 

Passionate about training, travel, photography and building, Beau says he can be shy at first. 

Bec, 30, a charity officer from Victoria

Bec describes herself as, ‘Chaotic, loud and enthusiastic’. 

‘I fully embrace every day and want to live life as happily and lovingly as possible,’ she says.  

The stunner is passionate about mental health, being an inclusive ally, cats and potatoes. 

She says she won’t settle for just anyone and would travel anywhere for love, revealing, ‘I would rather be single than with someone who’s not right for me’. 

Carissa, 30, a psychologist from Queensland

Described as ‘intelligent and adventurous,’ Carissa has spent a lot of time sailing around the world. 

The registered psychologist works with at-risk youth, is always up for anything and loves getting out in nature and anything to do with the ocean.  

‘I can be very awkward when I like someone and ramble and or tell stories about nothing that go in circles. 

‘I hope the right person adores my awkwardness, rather than runs away from it,’ she says. 

Darvid, 27, a landscaper from Queensland

Described as ‘driven and confident,’ Darvid can be a little blunt which sometimes gets him into trouble. 

The self-employed landscaper’s family describe him as a bull in a China shop.

 With a glass half-full mentality, Darvid is finally at the stage in his life where he is open to finding the one. 

‘I think I have pretty high standards at this point, and I won’t settle down until I have found the right person,’ he says. 

Emily, 25, a vet receptionist from NSW

Emily is described as ‘excited, fiery, and sensitive’ and ‘always trying to bring out the best in people.’

Animal-obsessed and a social butterfly, she makes sure she is always open to learning new things. 

‘I’ve got so much love and energy for the right person. I’ve created a life that I love: I’m surrounded by the most amazing friends, I’m around animals every day and I make time for a boogie no matter what,’ she says. 

Holly, 27,  a marketing administrator from NSW

An NRL cheerleader, Holly wears her heart on her sleeve and now happy with other aspects of her life, she’s ready to find someone to share it with. 

‘I was head over heels in love for a long time, and I want to find someone who makes me feel that way again. I won’t settle for anything less,’ she says. 

Holly added: ‘I am bright, fun and bring so much love and energy to everything I do. I am genuinely looking for love and think Brooke, and my goals and outlook on life, align!’ 

Jamie-Lee, 30, a psychology student from NSW

A romantic introvert who gives her everything to make someone happy, Jamie wants to settle down with the right person – and she believes that is Brooke. 

‘I applied when I saw Brooke was The Bachelorette. I believe we had a connection when we were in the house together on The Bachelor Australia,’ she said.  

‘I am resilient and supportive and won’t give up when things get tough. I am open-minded and always willing to learn and better myself’. 

‘I’m ready for my next relationship to be my last. I want to find that one person I can do life with and raise a family with. I’m ready for commitment,’ the beauty adds. 

Jess, 30, a software sales executive from South Australia 

Jess describes herself as ‘bubbly, down-to-earth Drama Queen who isn’t afraid to put herself out there.’

The entrepreneur is an avid cook who doesn’t mind breaking the rules… as long as no one gets hurt. 

‘I am protective of my energy. I know my worth, who I am as a person and what I have to offer,’ she says. 

‘Choosing a partner, your forever person, should not be something that is rushed or taken lightly’.  

Johann, 27, a carpenter from NSW

Passionate about martial arts, Johann has competed around the world. 

The carpenter was born in Italy, speaks German and grew up on the sunny shores of Australia. 

He is described as a ‘happy, positive person who likes to bring good vibes to any and all situations.’

He describes himself as ‘active, spontaneous, honest, silly and impetuous’ and looking for, ‘Someone to laugh at and a shoulder to cry on.’ 

Konrad, 31, a carpenter from Victoria

Described as, ‘Confident, loyal and a hopeless romantic’, Konrad falls in love easily. 

His loved-up parents have taught the carpenter the importance of looking after your partner and your family, to be respectful and to be yourself, and he wants to find what his parents have. 

‘I haven’t met the one yet. I’m being careful not to ignore the early signs, and any red flags,’ he says. 

‘Just because I get along with someone, doesn’t mean I should be in a relationship with them. I am taking my time.’

Kurt, 29, a sports mentor from NSW

Kurt is described as ‘adventurous and impulsive’ and likes to help those less fortunate. 

The Sports Mentor enjoys getting outdoors, surfing, hiking, camping and riding motorbikes. 

His parents’ marriage has shown him the importance of being around for the ups and downs, and he is ready to fall in love and have someone to go on adventures with. 

‘I like my individual space and time. When I was training as a swimmer, I was selfish of my time, and it has taken me a lot to change that,’ he says. 

Matt, 31, a metal fabricator from Queensland 

Described as ‘positive, friendly, and hardworking’, Matt is always looking to challenge himself. 

He loves meeting new people and is looking for a laid-back girl to do life with. 

Growing up with two sisters has shown him how to treat a woman with love and respect, but still have a cheeky side. 

Matt calls himself ‘happy, carefree, understanding, fun and compassionate.’

Ritu, 25, a filmmaker from Victoria 

Ritu calls herself ‘career-focused’ and is looking for a solid partner to build a life with. 

‘I think Brooke and I are very similar. Not only are we both POC queer women, but we are both based in Melbourne and passionate about mental health and trauma recovery,’ she says.  

The beauty adds that she is ‘quite romantic’ and ‘wants to work on being a good partner to someone who is worth it.’ 

Ryan, 29, a plumber from NSW

Described as ‘confident and gym-loving,’ Ryan enjoys watching sport and keeping in shape, after a knee reconstruction saw him side-lined during AFL. 

Having experienced heartbreak in the past, he is open to travelling across the other side of the world to find the love of his life. 

‘I am family‐oriented, supportive, and protective of the ones I love. I like to keep fit and healthy. I am very accepting and understanding,’ he said. 

Ryan calls himself, ‘Charismatic, caring, passionate, open‐minded, and fun’. 

Steve, 29, a podiatrist from NSW

Steve is called a, ‘hardworking and intelligent goofball’ who believes in being a good person and putting positivity into the Ethos. 

The business owner likes to keep active by playing rugby, riding motorbikes, swimming, and running.  

‘I’m looking for someone to really light up my world, and I’m yet to find that,’ he says.

Steve adds that he is looking for, ‘Fun times, lots of laughs, a very supportive and caring environment and spontaneity.’ 

Taje, 23, a youth worker from NSW

Described as, ‘loyal, empathetic, and protective’, Taje follows her gut when making decisions. 

Her culture is a big part of her life, and she is passionate about working with her community. 

The Youth Worker is looking for a partner whose lives together would be filled with love, passion, and support. 

‘I only date people that I have a genuine connection with. I prefer to stay single than date someone for the sake of it,’ she says.
