The Bachelorette: Katie Thurston picks Blake Moynes over Justin Glaze in the Season 17 finale

Katie Thurston found her person in Blake Moynes, choosing him over Justin Glaze in the emotional Season 17 finale of The Bachelorette on Monday night.

After promising all season that she would only say ‘I love you’ to one person, she uttered those words to Moynes, 30, a wildlife manager from Hamilton, Ontario Canada during their overnight date, before going to the fantasy suite.

Unfortunately for Glaze, 26, an investment sales consultant from Ellicott City, Maryland, that overnight date came the day before his, as she told him the next day that she was in love with Blake and it was over between them.

‘It’s scary to say because I promised myself that I wouldn’t say it to anybody unless I was sure. I f**king love you, and I’m really excited about life with you,’ Blake said.

‘Wow. I’m speechless because as you’re talking about love and sharing it, I’m relating. Like yes, I haven’t said it to anybody. I’ve held that close. It is a big deal. It’s a huge word. As much as I want to be stubborn and just like you, it’s scary and it’s crazy, but I f***ing love you so much. And I couldn’t be happier that you’re here,’ Katie added.

‘I get to go into the fantasy suite with a guy that I love. I have not felt this happy in a long time. All I ever wanted was to find someone that loves me exactly as I am. I feel like he completes me,’ Katie said in confessional.
