The Bachelor’s Bella Varelis finds a nail in her supermarket-bought salmon and urges others to be careful
Former Bachelor runner-up Bella Varelis has found ‘a nail’ in a pack of salmon she purchased from a supermarket.
On Wednesday, the 25-year-old shared a photo on her Instagram Story showing what appeared to be something long and silver stuck to a piece of fish.
In the caption she wrote: ‘Just found a nail in a pack of @TassalSalmon.’

She explained: ‘Usually I always buy from the seafood markets and make sure it’s wild-caught but I got desperate tonight and bought from the supermarket.
‘If you have bought this recently please be careful,’ she urged her followers.
A Tassal spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday: ‘Consumer safety is paramount for us.
‘We are currently seeking more information to enable us to undertake an investigation into this particular claim.’

Bella rose to fame on season eight of The Bachelor with Locky Gilbert, and lost to her rival Irena Srbinovska.
The Instagram Influencer, who commands an audience of over 103,000, has since moved on with her boyfriend Will Stokoe.
Back in August, she took a swipe at Locky in an Instagram Q&A after a fan asked her about having her heart broken on national television, a year on from the finale.

She said: ‘Weird, this night last year I was a mess. I couldn’t eat, didn’t sleep and I could barely catch a breath through the tears, but I had a room full of people who were so supportive.’
‘Even though I was sad and confused, I knew that it was the best decision and it happened for a reason. It was a big eye opener for me. I wouldn’t change anything for the world. I just still wish you guys saw the full story.’
Referring to her new romance with Will, Bella said: ‘I’m so grateful to be in a non-toxic, loving relationship with the man of my dreams.’
