Chloe Ferry has enraged Geordie Shore bosses after flouting quarantine rules to party and see her mother, according to reports on Tuesday.

The reality star, 25, who shot to stardom on the MTV series, was expected to make her grand return to the show today as a ‘last-minute surprise’, but her appearance was thrown into question amid claims she has been mixing with other individuals.

Cast members are required to self isolate before filming commences this year, to prevent the spread of coronavirus, and they are monitored by security 24/7 to ensure they comply with quarantine rules.

However, she managed to ‘outwit’ her security as a source revealed to The Sun: ‘Chloe really didn’t want to quarantine before doing the show so she’s found ways to outwit the security watching her house 24/7.

‘On Saturday she attended a party in a neighbour’s garden – by using a ladder to climb over the fence.

‘She was telling guests that she would be going into the show as a surprise and didn’t seem worried about breaking the Covid rules.

‘It’s also made things very difficult for MTV bosses, who have tried to be really careful. They are furious.’

An associate close to Chloe denied the claims, meanwhile MTV said in a statement: ‘We do not comment on rumours or speculation.’

MailOnline have reached out to Chloe’s reps for further comment.

Filming for the latest installment of Geordie Shore is currently underway in Newcastle.

And MailOnline reported earlier on Tuesday that Geordie Shore veteran Chloe is returning to the MTV show this week for its new rebranded dating series – where stars will take their pick from 70 singletons.

The reality favourite, plus co-stars including Amelia Lily, Nathan Henry, Abby Holborn and three newbies, are filming Geordie Shore: A Shot At Love in Newcastle.

They have all been in quarantine as part of the Covid-19 safety measures brought in by show bosses, with the stars set to try and find love in the new re-worked format.

Each Geordie will be given 10 singletons to scrutinise as potential partners and eventually choose three-per-person to join them in the house.

It’s hoped the new format will halt the falling ratings of the show, which has spawned stars including Vicky Pattison and Charlotte Crosby.

A source said: ‘Geordie Shore has been in desperate need of freshening up and bosses feel turning the format into a dating show will do just that.

‘It means there will be many more new faces thrown into the mix who are bound to cause some arguments and make great TV.

‘But the tweak in format is seen as the last throw of the dice to keep the show going.’

Geordie Shore first aired on MTV in 2011 and plans for a big 10-year anniversary series in Colombia were scrapped earlier this year due to the pandemic.

Instead, stars from past and present filmed a two-part special called Geordie Shore: Talk of the Toon, which aired last month.

Despite her plans to return to the show in a quest to find love, it was revealed on Tuesday that Chloe is reportedly dating former Love Islander Jordan Hames, less than two weeks after her split from Hollyoaks hunk, Owen Warner.

The Geordie Shore star allegedly began a romance with the model, 26, earlier this month when she returned home from Portugal.

Chloe had hinted that she was engaged to former beau Owen, 21, towards the end of May as she cuddled him during their sun-soaked vacation abroad.

However she unfollowed him a few weeks later, seemingly confirming the end of their relationship, after allegedly learning he was messaging a glamour model, begging to go on a date.

She appears to have moved on with Jordan as a source told The Sun on Tuesday: ‘Chloe and Jordan have been enjoying each other’s company after both getting back from their holidays in Portugal.

‘Jordan has been staying over at Chloe’s home whenever he gets the chance and spent last weekend attending a party with her.

‘They are keeping things on the down low, but have definitely been having lots of fun.’
