Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici 'identifies two new targets' with two signings close

Fabio Paratici has reportedly identified Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini and Porto’s Jesus Corona as transfer targets as he looks to continue strengthening for Nuno Espirito Santo. The Italian has been a breath of fresh air since arriving in north London and is working hard in the background to ensure Spurs’ squad is looking strong heading into the new campaign, with Tottenham determined to challenge.

Paratici was spotted at Tottenham’s 3-0 pre-season friendly win over Colchester last night in Essex and was snapped standing to one side and speaking on his phone.

The former Juventus chief did not appear to take much of a break from his device, something that has left Tottenham fans excited about the prospect of more incomings.

Tottenham have already secured a deal for Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini, who has already spent short spells in England with Manchester United’s academy and Aston Villa.

The 26-year-old had part of his medical yesterday and will fly to London today after completing the second part of his checks.

Jose Mourinho wants to keep him but the club and the player does not want to leave but Spurs are loitering.

Journalist Duncan Castles also claims Tottenham are set to move for Porto’s Jesus Manuel Corona.

The versatile winger – who can also play at full-back or wing-back – is believed to be worth around £22million.

Nuno has strong contacts at Porto of course, where he used to play in goal under former Spurs boss Mourinho.

Corona was regularly linked with a move to Wolves during Nuno’s time in the Black Country but the move never happened.

Porto are willing to let the player leave this summer meaning a deal is there to be struck if Tottenham present a suitable offer.

Spurs are also focusing their efforts on raising some cash by offloading a host of fringe players.

Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier could now follow Lamela out of the door.

All three players were reportedly told they could find a new club before the start of the new campaign.
