Alfa Romeo has signed Guanyu Zhou to partner Valtteri Bottas in 2022. The final F1 spot for next season has finally been filled by Formula 2 title challenger Zhou, who has agreed a one-year deal with the team.
Zhou will make history by becoming the first Chinese driver to race in F1 and will team up with Mercedes man Bottas, who will leave the Silver Arrows after this campaign to be replaced by George Russell.
