Whitney Port reflects on her second miscarriage as she meets her newborn nephew born during the same week in which she would have also given birth
Whitney Port reflected on her heartbreaking miscarriage after her sister Jade gave birth during the same week that the reality star would also have welcomed her second child.
The 36-year-old reality star traveled to Chicago to be there for the birth of her nephew Tate and shared images from the hospital on her Instagram stories.
‘Crazy to think I would have had a newborn within this week too,’ Whitney wrote on a photo in which she is seen holding the baby boy.

She continued, ‘Jade and I got pregnant at the exact same time last fall (isn’t that wild?) and then I miscarried after 8 weeks.
‘Sad to really think about it but I just really wanted to say it just to get it out of my head and send everyone who is dealing with some kind of fertility issue a virtual hug.’
The Hills: New Beginnings star was clad in a pink t-shirt as she smiled softly while cradling Tate, who was swaddled in a plush blanket. She also added a cute sticker of two cartoon dogs hugging.

She also posted a black and white version of the same picture and drew a heart.
The fashion designer was accompanied by her family including her mother Vicki and sister Ashley as she arrived at the airport in Chicago.
‘Chicago!!!! We’re here!!!!’ she wrote excitedly on the snap, as the group headed to meet their newest family member.

On Thursday, the television personality shared two photos to her Instagram in which she was relaxing on the beach with her husband Tim Rosenman, 42.
The blonde beauty’s tresses cascaded over her shoulders as she leaned against a blue towel. Tim sported a light blue long-sleeved shirt and gray swim trunks and covered his eyes with cucumber slices.
Port donned a yellow, black and green floral bikini that showed off her incredibly slender figure and accessorized with two gold necklaces including one with a heart pendant.

Whitney was also seen basking in the sun while wearing a wide-brimmed straw hat and a shimmery pink lip gloss.
Port and Rosenman share son Sonny Sanford, three, together. Whitney suffered her first miscarriage in 2019. She revealed the heartbreaking news of her second pregnancy on Instagram in January 2021.
‘I’m sad but I’m ok and we will try again,’ she wrote at the time.
‘I also have so much sadness in my heart for anyone that has to go through this or has gone through this. I know though that our community will share, band together and support- cause you always do.’
