Many took to Twitter on Sunday morning to comment on the loud passing of the jet. It was later revealed the noise had been an F15 fighter jet which was passing over the city. Commenting on the impromptu flight, Londoners took to social media to comment on the noise.
One person said: “I just commented to my partner about how loud that plane was!”
Another said: “Yep – couldn’t miss that noise.”
