Paul Burrell told Closer Magazine how he feels the Duke had been “blinded” by Meghan Markle’s beauty and that only she could bring his explosive interviews to a halt. He said: “He’s been blinded by Meghan, by her beauty and by this Hollywood world.
In episode five of the series, the Duke discussed his and Meghan’s tell-all interview with Ms Winfrey earlier this year that sent shockwaves through the world.
The conversation, which was broadcast in March on CBS in the US and ITV in the UK, saw the Duke admit he was being “authentic”.
He said: “The interview was about being real, being authentic and hopefully sharing an experience we know is incredibly relatable to a lot of people around the world, despite our unique, privileged position.
“I like to think we were able to speak the truth in the most compassionate way possible, therefore leaving an opening for reconciliation and healing.”
