    Alison Hammond dresses up as Lady Gaga in hilarious performance for fans as they wait for the songstress outside a London hotel


    She’s currently standing in for Holly on ITV’s This Morning. 

    And on Thursday Alison Hammond, 46, wowed Lady Gaga fans as she pulled out all the stops in a hilarious performance.

    The presenter stepped out after interviewing the star clad in a bright pink cape and a Gaga-style oversized bow –  in a look reminiscent of the singer’s early outfits at the start of her career.

    Alison donned the dramatic floor length hot pink cape which was peppered with the hand painted titles of the songstresses hit tracks.  

    The costume was complete with a ginormous matching bow that was placed precariously on top of her head.   

    She accessorised with full length satin gloves, diamanté drop earrings and an oversized pair of iconic square blacked out sunglasses. 

    Alison smiled for the cameras and blew kissed to fan as she got in to character outside the stars hotel.

    Alison was interviewing the House Of Gucci star for her role on ITV’s this Morning as she steps in for Holly Willoughby. 

    She certainly made an entrance in the eye-catching ensemble that was reminiscent of Lady Gaga's early fashion statements

    Alison has been holding down the fort alongside Dermot O’Leary, for Phil and Holly on ITV’s This Morning while the iconic pair take a well-earned rest.

    Recently it was revealed that presenters hard earned efforts may have paid off – as bosses might be offering them a permanent spot on the show.

    A TV insider said that when considering the decision to replace Phil and Holly backstage, ‘the verdict was very favourable’.
