    Amanda Holden channels the 70s in a plunging denim jumpsuit after sharing hilarious insight into pal David Walliams’ star-studded birthday bash


    Amanda Holden took inspiration from the 1970s for her latest appearance on Heart Radio on Tuesday, as she slipped into a plunging denim jumpsuit.

    The presenter, 50, looked sensational in the stylish one-piece as she left Global Studios in London after appearing on the breakfast show.

    During the show, Amanda and actor Rob Brydon revealed on Tuesday that they felt like C-listers at David Walliams’ star-studded 50th birthday bash, after attending the party at Claridges hotel last weekend.

    During the show Amanda and Rob joked they were so far down the pecking order that they were ‘manning the cloakrooms’. 

    Chatting on her Heart Breakfast show about the glitzy party that was also attended by Elton John, Elizabeth Hurley and Holly Valance, Amanda quipped: ‘Oh it was just so lovely to soak up the atmosphere, do a bit of pick-pocketing…’ 

    Detailing the events of the evening, Amanda told her co-host Jamie Theakston that she and Rob attended David’s ‘little bash’ where Rob gave ‘a wonderful warm speech’ that was ‘slightly cutting’ about the birthday boy.

    Laughing at his opportunity to ‘tell the truth’ about the comedian in front of his many guests, Rob said: ‘It was a hell of a party. Understated it was not.’ 

    The pair then joked that when singing legend Elton John took to the stage they didn’t even recognise him and thought he was the Edna Everage actor Barry Humphries.

    ‘I knew the songs and I couldn’t place him,’ said Rob, to which Amanda bantered back: ‘You know, the bloke out of the John Lewis advert.’

    Amanda said of the atmosphere and big name attendees: ‘It was very overwhelming, it was amazing. 

    She then revealed: ‘David rode in – and I forgot to say -on a plastic white horse as well. 

    The TV personality then compared her fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge to Madonna, who had ridden in on a live white horse for her 59th birthday soiree in Italy this July.   

    Rob excitedly chimed in afterwards: ‘ [It was a] massive plastic white horse. I’ve been to many parties that you describe as “who’s that”, this really was a “who’s who”.’

    Amanda ensured she stood out amongst the other celebrities at the party on Saturday evening in a plunging gold jumpsuit.

    The presenter put on a confident display in the one-piece which showed a hint of her ample assets with the low neckline and featured a flattering flared leg.  

    She captioned a stunning Instagram snap: ‘All dressed up for someone’s big birthday bash!’

    The beauty completed her summery look with a pair of gold wedges and tied a matched headband into her softly tousled hair.
