Amanda Seyfried and Emmy Rossum celebrated Labor Day by sharing their birthing stories and never-before-seen photos of their baby bumps. 

While the federal holiday celebrates the social and economic achievements of workers in the United States, these doting moms put a playful twist on the occasion to share their labor stories labor and deliveries.  

After coming across old photos of herself while she was expecting her son Thomas last year, the 35-year-old Mean Girls star shared two photos from her pregnancy.

‘Same time last year,’ she captioned a bathroom mirror selfie, in which she bared her belly in just a tied-up, white t-shirt and a pair of black underwear. 

The mother-of-two also uploaded a snap of her smiling as she sat down to record audio for her 2020 black and white film Mank.

She also shares a four-year-old girl, named Nina with husband Thomas Sadoski, who she wed in March 2017.

Meanwhile, Rossum marked the holiday by revealing the events leading up to her own labor three months ago. 

The Shameless star revealed to her 3.8 million that before she welcomed her daughter Samantha, she became ‘motivated to go out and take down a bucket of chicken wings.’

‘I’ve never had a chicken wing in my life so I figured I was going into labor,’ she captioned a throwback photo of her cradling her bump.

Still, she listened to her cravings and ‘ordered a sandwich’ then Pad thai and ‘then’ welcomed her baby girl. 

She also told fans that during labor she popped blood vessels in her face.

The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King also looked back on birthing her first child, who she said ‘yanked’ out after ’22 hours’ with ‘no pain meds.’ 

‘This was the easy part… and so damn cool. I did that,’ she captioned a photo of her in labor with daughter Aspen. 

King, 36, also shares three-year-old twins boys Hayes and Hart with ex-husband Jim Edmonds, 51.

‘This isn’t what Labor Day is actually about but ok,’ one follower wrote among dozens of similar comments.  

Others, however, wrote in the reality star’s post couldn’t have been ‘more’ appropriate’ post as motherhood is the ‘single greatest contribution to our society and economy.’

On her Instagram Story, she answered questions about her pregnancy, including if she regretted getting vaccinated while expecting.

Windsor – who discovered she was pregnant in January after six months of trying – is due in early September.
