When a follower queried whether the clot was associated with the coronavirus vaccine, she clarified: ‘I’ve seen a few vaccine comments, I would like to clarify the blood clot was not caused by the covid vaccine x.’

Erin then stated that she is yet to have the vaccine, following further queries over whether the strokes were linked to the jab.

On concerns surrounding the vaccine and blood clots, the government website explains: ‘Recently there have been reports of an extremely rare but serious condition involving blood clots and unusual bleeding after AstraZeneca (AZ)…

‘Some people with this condition have suffered life changing effects and some have died. These cases are being carefully reviewed but the risk factors for this condition are not yet clear.’

Erin recently returned from a prolonged stay in Dubai alongside her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star sister Amy.

In her first shot, she raised a peace sign in the air while curled in a hospital bed with an eye mask in place and the marks of a cannula on her left hand.

In another image, Erin was pictured in an ambulance as she sported a mask while taking the picture close to her face.

Erin and Amy hit headlines last year when they voiced their heartache over coronavirus restrictions meaning they were not able to see their brother Ross , 26, who has an ultra-rare condition called mosaicism and lives in a care home.

He has an extra chromosome and has the mental age of a one-year-old. Ross also suffers from severe autism.

Following the roll-out of rapid testing later in the year and a petition, the family were allowed to reunite with Ross in December.

Sharing a picture showing her and her mum hugging her brother, Erin penned a caption reading: ‘The most wonderful Christmas present Thanks to everyone who signed the petition. Merry Xmas from my family to yours’.
