Michelle Young proved to have the beauty and the brawn in a first look at Season 18 of The Bachelorette.

The 28-year-old Minnesota based teacher is finally getting her shot at love after being runner-up on Matt James’ Bachelor season.

A 30 second promo for the upcoming ABC season— which premieres October 19 — shows Young with her game face on as she shoots hoops in a ballgown.

In a first look at the franchise’s newest Bachelorette, Michelle looks absolutely stunning as she walks down the stairs of an elegant mansion lined with an abundance of flowers.

Dressed in a one shouldered cream dress with lace detailing and a leg slit, she looks every bit the princess.

The ethereal promo continues to nod to her role as a teacher as she walks by a mock classroom setup lined with desks that feature apples on top.

And from there she takes her shot at love to the basketball court where she dribbles in her elegant evening wear before sinking a basket.

‘I’m looking for someone who’s gonna change the world with me. I’m ready,’ she is heard saying in a voiceover before plucking a rose.

Young who had her heart broken by James on the last season of The Bachelor came in late to the game but quickly became a frontrunner.

He ultimately chose to give his final rose to Rachael Kirkconnell at the end of the experience but he did not get down on one knee.

In a rare move by the franchise, after the season ended they announced two Bachelorette seasons back to back.

Season 17 — which aired its finale a few weeks ago — saw Katie Thurston getting a proposal from Blake Moynes.

Michelle’s upcoming season will reportedly be filmed at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa near Palm Springs, California as well as the Marquette Hotel in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Reality Steve  reported via Twitter on August 30 that her overnights and final rose ceremony will be filmed in Punta de Mita, Mexico.

Amid longtime franchise host Chris Harrison’s departure from the show amid outrage over racially insensitive remarks, former Bachelorettes Tayshia Adams (Season 16) and Kaitlyn Bristowe (Season 11) were tapped to co-host.

And the ladies will continue to do so this season as they aid Michelle in a quest to find love amongst 35 suitors.

Young had said after her casting that she hoped to see more diversity amongst the men this season.

‘They know that I’m going to push forward to make an impact in a positive way. And I think they’re kind of jumping on my train to do that with me,’ she told Good Morning America.

And she’s already received loads of advice from Thurston who told Young to be ‘open’ to the experience and whatever comes her way.

‘I think the biggest advice I’ve given her is to just be open. Don’t close yourself off too early. I think guys can surprise you … weeks later when you don’t expect it,’ she recounted to Entertainment Tonight.

The season is set to premiere on October 19 on ABC.
