And Britney Spears unwound the following day by taking a relaxing drive in her white Mercedes near her Thousand Oaks estate.
The 39-year-old pop icon was clearly in a great mood, as she posted some striking throwback photos of herself in various eye-catching bodysuits to Instagram later in the day while comparing herself to actress Bella Thorne, 23.

She wore her voluminous blond hair straight and swept back and blocked out the piercing sun with a set of stylish round-frame mirrored sunglasses.
The day before, the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office release a statement announcing that she was off the hook for the alleged battery of her housekeeper.
After reviewing the case, prosecutors ‘declined to file charges based upon insufficient evidence that a crime had occurred and the lack of injury to the housekeeper or significant damage to the phone.’
The Toxic singer was accused of smacking her housekeepers cell phone out of her hand after she had taken Britney’s dogs to the vet over concerns that they were being mistreated.
Her dog sitter then kept the dogs rather than returning them, though Britney was finally reuniting with the pooches late last month.

Although Britney seemed to be in a great mood on Thursday, earlier in the week her lawyers claimed that she was being ‘extorted’ by her father Jamie Spears as he prepared to resign as her conservator, according to TMZ.
The entertainer’s legal team filed documents in court on Tuesday claiming that Jamie’s legal team is requesting around $2 million before he’s willing to step down.
Although part of the fee would go to cover his legal costs and to pay his daughter’s business manager Tri Star, a large chunk would presumably go directly to him.
