Brooke Shields dons pink pumps with black fringed blazer dress at the NYC premiere of House of Gucci


Former child star Brooke Shields gave her black ensemble a pop of color with pink pumps at the New York premiere of House Of Gucci at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Rose Theater on Tuesday.

The 56-year-old native New Yorker opted for a black blazer midi-dress selected by stylist Deborah Watson, which featured silver patches with white fringe detailing.

Brooke styled her long brunette tresses into a piecey ponytail for the red carpet film festivities.

Shields wore a sparkly blue choker as well as aviator-shaped glasses over her famously bushy brows and smoky eye make-up.

At one point in Ridley Scott’s Patrizia Reggiani biopic House of Gucci, the high-fashion characters live it up in Manhattan circa 1977-1980 when the glitterati partied at Studio 54.

The Princeton grad was an extremely successful model and actress at the time, and she was a regular at Studio 54.

‘I wish I didn’t throw away all my big shoulder pads,’ Brooke told the New York Post this month.

On Monday, Shields worked up a sweat during a rope exercise with her trainer Ngo Okafor at his Manhattan gym, Iconoclast Fitness.

‘There’s this whole era that I’m walking into, and I’m seeing it out there being less represented. You go from Gen whatever to Depends,’ the Beginning Is Now founder lamented to The Washington Post this month.

‘Why is menopause just associated with being crusty and old and dried up? I am better now than I was ever before. I’m more focused and more confident. I feel sexier. I understand my body more. I’m fitter.’
